As the initial project of a previously undeveloped area, the Shores Center reveals a sensitivity to the architectural precedent it set.

Constructed on landfill, the commercial office buildings were fabricated with steel frames clad with fiberglass reinforced concrete panels to make them both economical and lightweight. Sleek aluminum panels and glass underscore the contemporary design.

Oriented like a campus, the buildings were planned to cluster around a common plaza to create a strong sense of place. Transparent lobbies finished with oak paneling and tile floors extend through the buildings, linking the main entrances visually and physically with the pedestrin plaza.
